Privacy statement
In short: we only use your details to respond to your request. We use no cookies, no trackers and never sell your data. The Dutch version is the leading text.

Who is responsible?
This website belongs to Vocal Impact – Loukia Mei, singer and vocal coach, based in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Vocal Impact is the controller for the processing described here.

What data do we process?
Only what you fill in on a request form (lessons, performance or workshop):
- name and email address (required);
- phone number and town (if you fill them in);
- details of your request, such as lesson format, experience, date and place of a performance, occasion, number of guests or participants and your organisation;
- your message.
Like every website, our hosting provider keeps technical server logs (such as IP address, browser and time). We do not use these to track you. To prevent abuse of the forms, a non-reversible code of your IP address is kept for at most 10 minutes.

Why, and on what legal basis?
- Responding to your request and preparing a proposal: necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Delivering and invoicing lessons, performances or workshops: performance of the contract and legal (tax) obligations (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR).
- Protecting the website and forms against spam and abuse: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We never send newsletters or advertising without your separate consent.

How long do we keep your data?
- If your request does not lead to an agreement, we delete it no later than 12 months after our last contact.
- If it does, we keep your data as long as needed for the collaboration. Data on invoices is kept for 7 years, as required by Dutch law.

Who receives your data?
We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for their own purposes. To send and receive requests we use:
- our hosting provider, which processes the website and form technically;
- Google (Gmail), where requests arrive by email. Google may process data outside the EU and participates in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
If you contact us via WhatsApp, that conversation runs through WhatsApp (Meta) and WhatsApp’s privacy policy also applies. Prefer not to? Use the form or call.

Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking tools, no advertising pixels and no embedded third-party videos or maps. Fonts are loaded from our own server. That is why there is no cookie banner.
Links to other websites, such as Instagram or Google Maps, are subject to those parties’ own privacy and cookie policies.

Security
The website only works over a secure connection (HTTPS) and uses security settings that stop other websites from misusing code or forms on this site. The forms are protected against spam without you having to solve a puzzle.

Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. Contact us using the details above; we respond within one month.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. We would of course like to hear from you first.
